2021 Frankenmuth Eagles Baseball Team won the share of the TVC8 Division with the Bay City John Glenn Bobcats. They where expected to have a good 2021 campaign. Head Coach Gene McKinstry has done a remarkable job as Head Coach of this Ball Club all season long. Good core of players on this squad. Played a lot of Baseball in the past years. Led Sophomore Pitcher & Michigan Wolverines Commit Drew Titsworth. Got a lot more on this squad that can contributed to the Ball Club as well too. Dedicated bunch of players they got now. Good Seniors led Davin Reif & Riley Roy to this team. They been good leaders thru out the season so far. Impressive to watch for sure in 2021. Good Pitching & Hitting. Scoring runs there suppose as well. Make in the clutch times. They done that one all season long.
Got another Division 2 District Title on Saturday at Marco Maret Field in Frankenmuth. Davin Reif was solid in the Division 2 District Semifinal Game against the Saginaw High Trojans in a 13-0 victory in 5 innings of this contest. Pitch a CG shutout for Head Coach Gene McKinstry in the win. Bringing that Senior Leadership to this team in 2021. Solid performance indeed. Drew Titsworth squared off with Michigan Wolverines Commit Avery Goldensoph in the Division 2 District Championship Game. Drew pitch a CG as well too in a 5-2 victory over the Saginaw Swan Valley Vikings. Made clutch pitches for the Frankenmuth Eagles Baseball Team. Gene is proud of both of his pitchers doing the job on Saturday. There going to play in the Regionals on Wednesday at Clio HS. Take on the Birch Run Panthers in the Regional Semifinals in that game too.
