Ryan Drabant had a good 2021 campaign for the Sandusky Redskins Softball Team. Be GTCE Division Outright Champions. Took over for Danny Franzel this off-season. Good hire they got as well too. Did a wonderful job with this team all season long. Players bought into his system very nicely indeed. Showing me good impression in his 1st year as Head Coach in Sandusky. 1992 Sandusky HS Graduated. Knows his Softball very well indeed. Love playing for him now. His Daughter is a Senior next month at Sandusky HS. Lose to the Bad Axe Hatchets in the District Championship Game in Cass City this past year too.
Danny Franzel had a good run of his own in the past years for the Sandusky Redskins Softball Team & Program in 2011-19 as Head Coach. Won 5 District Titles, 2 GTCE Division Titles, & Regional Title under his belt. Had some good talent in his system too. Got the best out of those players each & every time down. Good run of his own too. Still at the games these days of ages seeing Ryan Drabant Coach his team in 2021. 1991 Sandusky HS Graduated……..
Joe Haupt had a good run of his own during his tenure for the Sandusky Redskins Softball Team & Program in the late 1980’s, late 1990’s, & early 2000’s. Helped out Dennis Rich in 1997-00. Susan (Kenny) Henry in the early 2000’s. Very good with the Pitchers & Catchers during that time being. Knew his Softball very well too. 1968 Sandusky HS Graduated & Dennis Rich was also in the same class as Joe Haupt too. Susan (Kenny) Henry was a 1989 Sandusky HS Graduated…….
Darryl Blank was a very good Softball Head Coach as well too during that time being for the Sandusky Redskins Softball Team & Program in the late 1970’s to the early to mid 1980’s. Good amount of talent on the squad during that time being in Sandusky. Super nice guy also too. His Brother Dave was the best Boys Basketball Player Sandusky Redskins Boys Basketball Team ever had in School & Program History in the 1964 Sandusky HS Graduating Class. Darryl was the 1971 Sandusky HS Graduated……..
These where the good Sandusky HS Graduates that where good Softball Coaches in HS for the Sandusky Redskins Program in the past & present years now. We are fortunate enough to get that one too now……..
