Maze Gusa is the Division 4 Regional Champion in the Individual one on Saturday at Wagner Park in Harbor Beach. Going back to defend her State Runner-Up Title for the Ubly Bearcats Girls Cross Country Team & Program. Head Coach Garrett Jurges is happy to have her on the squad anyways. She is a Junior this season at Ubly HS. Showing me good impression for the Ubly Bearcats Girls Team in the last 2 years. Been a privilege to cover her meets also too. Good running skills. Dedicated at this sport. Good mindset of that one. Trains very hard year round. During COVID-19 started in 2020. Started to do her own running on her own anyways. Been fortunate to see a lot of that one on display. Put on a showcase for everyone else too. She is got one more year to run for the 2022 Ubly Bearcats Girls Cross Country Team. Good student in the classroom & also in sports. Listen to details also too. Focus on things she needs to do out there anyways. Take one day & one step at a time. Everything goes in the 1’s category.
