Tyler Franzel came thru in the clutch time situations for the Sandusky Redskins Baseball Team on Monday Night. Walk-Off Base Hit with 1-out, drove in 2 runs to give the team a Outright GTCE Division Crown in 2022. He is a Sophomore right now in Sandusky HS. Head Coach James Minard counted on Tyler to execute a line drive base hit & he did that one. Look like a Senior out there in the biggest stage for this Ball Club. Almost caught that Foul Ball as a Freshman in 2021 against the Marlette Red Raiders with 2 outs with a 3-2 lead. Lost the game 4-3 at Albrecht Field in Sandusky. Got revenge against the Marlette Red Raiders 2 weeks ago instead. Go from one good Head Coach Ryan Pritchett in 2021 & now James Minard in 2022. Both of them have really good Baseball Knowledges. JV & Varsity won 19 games in 2021. Good core of the 2024 Class coming up for this unit. Good JV Team in 2022 in Sandusky. Good Seniors Leaders in Josh Smith, Robbie Eschenburg, Martin Tovar, & Ashton Phillips. Feeling good about getting the GTCE Division Hardware heading back to Sandusky once again now. Continue to improve more going forward to Non-League Action. Back to work for more to come yet still for this roster. GTCE Division Baseball Action is over now. Never satisfied with that one ever. Tyler is making a nice jump from Freshman to Sophomore now in progress. James Minard is bringing back that Tradition already now in Sandusky. Making things interesting for everyone else that is watching him play. Good competitor & wants to be there to the end. Congratulations on that walk-off in front of everyone else on Monday Night at Albrecht Field in Sandusky……..
