Elvis Grbac & Desmond Howard Good 1-2 Tandem For The 1991 Michigan Wolverines Football Team.

Elvis Grbac was one of the 5 best Michigan Wolverines Football QB’s of all-times in Michigan Wolverines Football Team & History. Had a good 3 years at QB for Head Coach Gary Moeller in Ann Arbor. I remember the 1991 Notre Dame vs Michigan Football Game at The Big House in Ann Arbor. On 4th & Inches. Brent Musberger said there going for it all. Elvis Grabac made a good pump fake & release it after the pump fake. Threw it to Desmond Howard & made a diving reception for a TD. Beat Notre Dame 24-14 in 1991 at The Big House in Ann Arbor. Stayed one more season after the 1991 season for the Michigan Wolverines in 1992 at QB. Got recruited by Bo Schembechler in the 1988 class to play QB for the Maize & Blue. Sat out as a True Freshman in 1988. Got to play more in 1989 as a Redshirt Freshman at QB. Good QB Indeed.

Desmond Howard had a good 1991 campaign for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team at WR. Good Punt Returner too. Remember the 1991 Ohio State vs Michigan Football Game at The Big House in Ann Arbor. Ran a Punt Return for a TD against the Ohio State Buckeyes in a 31-3 victory at home. Went undefeated in B1G Conference in 1991. Keith Jackson called Desmond Howard Hello Heisman in that game. Ran a Reverse for a TD against the Notre Dame Game at home too in 1991. Won Super Bowl 31 For The 1996 Green Bay Packers Against The New England Patriots At The Superdome In New Orleans. Ran 2 Kickoff Returns For A TD In That Super Bowl 31 Game. Played for a good Head Coach Mike Holmgren & QB Brett Farve.

Elvis Grbac & Desmond Howard where classmates, teammates, & friends together in High School in the Cleveland, OH area. They came together once again for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team for the next 4 years in Ann Arbor. They where a good 1-2 tandem at QB & WR for the Maize & Blue as well too in 1991. 1991-92 went 10-2 overall record. Lose to the Florida State Seminoles 51-31 at home & Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on New Years Day 34-14. Both of them had a good career indeed for the Maize & Blue. Legendary Players Also Too.

Go Blue Elvis Grbac & Desmond Howard…….
