Leandra Wolschleger carried the Harbor Beach Pirates Girls Basketball Team to a victory over the Sandusky Redskins on Wednesday Night at Al DeMott Court in Sandusky HS in GTCE Division Action. Solid on the Free Throw Line & making plays for herself & everyone else too. 3-year Varsity Player for Head Coach Jim Tamlyn. Sandusky is a very tough place to play out there too. Despite not getting a lot of gym time in Basketball this past off-season & so on like that. Stayed together as a unit & got the job done no matter what in this big game on the road in Sandusky on Wednesday Night. Executed very well in the victory. Madelyn Geiger had a very good game for the winning team too. Coming back from a ACL Knee Injury she suffered a year ago. Made nice progress for the Harbor Beach Pirates in this one too. Solid on the Free Throw Line. Also a Senior as well too. Nice production out of everyone else. Total Team Effort all the way around. Kept believing in themselves all game long. Make plays when they needed to the most. Last time Harbor Beach beat Sandusky at the same place was on November 2nd, 2004. With Janel Hessling, Laura Messing, Kayla Kramer, Kelsey Wehner, & Ashley Lemanski good starting 5 for the Harbor Beach Pirates Girls Basketball Team that season in 2004. Sandusky had the 3 best players in the GTCE Division in 2004. Stacie Maier, Melissa Chambers, & Maria Chambers for Head Coach Al DeMott. Won the share of the GTCE Division that season in 2004. Sandusky really good squad that season too in 2004. Harbor Beach Pirates Assistant Coach right Brianne had a sister that played on that 2004 squad Danielle. She was a Junior on that team in 2004. 2006 Harbor Beach HS Graduated. Leandra Wolschleger will remember that one for a long time coming in the future years at Harbor Beach. Jim Tamlyn is proud of those girls on the victory in Sandusky on Wednesday Night. Gotta steal road games on the road. They did that one too.
Go Harbor Beach Pirates Girls Basketball Team & Congratulations To Leandra Wolschleger On Your Brilliant Performance As Well Too.
