Jesse Minter Will Replace Mike MacDonald As Defensive Coordinator For The 2022 Michigan Wolverines Football Team.


Jesse Minter will replace Mike MacDonald as Defensive Coordinator for the 2022 Michigan Wolverines Football Team in Ann Arbor. Defensive Coordinator for the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville, TN a year ago with Head Coach Clark Lea. Mike MacDonald is now the DC for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. Mike did a excellent job as DC for the Maize & Blue in 2021. Revamping that Defense. Switch to a 4-3 Defense Variety to a 3-4 Defense Variety instead. That 3-4 Defense worked out very well in 2021. There is talent on this roster now in Ann Arbor. Jesse will do a good job with that Department. Knew Mike MacDonald in his days with the Baltimore Ravens in the past years in the NFL. John & Jim Harbaugh where fans of both of them anyways.



Jim Harbaugh made the right decision on firing Defensive Coordinator Don Brown on December 22nd, 2020. Don love playing the Gimmick Defense & Man Coverage also too. Mike MacDonald did a good job with that department in 2021. Jesse Minter will follow Mike MacDonald’s department in 2022. Seen that Defense improved in 2021 then in 2020. Mike MacDonald started that 3-4 Defense for the Maize & Blue. Jesse Minter will keep that one going for more to come yet in 2022. Players love playing for both of them anyways. Come from the Baltimore Ravens Defense in the NFL. Jesse wants a relentless Defense in store this coming fall. They want more & never satisfied with any outcome of any game at all period. Continue that tradition going for more years to come now in store. We will see a much better Defense in 2022 then in 2021. Despite losing Aidan Hutchinson & David Ojabo to the NFL Draft. They got Mike Morris & other ones in play now.
